We are the Restore 525 Indoor management/club team. We are in charge of keeping up the indoor and outdoor aquaponics systems. This means that we, as team, test the water quality, as well as make sure that the system is functioning properly and undergoing the correct chemical changes so that the fish can be healthy and the plants can grow. It is crucial for the aquaponics system to maintain a healthy balance between ammonia, nitrate, nitrite.
We also are exploring the possibility of fish breading in Haiti, by establishing functioning breeding systems in our indoor greenhouse. We also reach out to our school community through our club. We provide opportunities for them to help with our systems as well as our fundraising activities. We all work to ensure the stability of the aquaponics systems, and its integration into our local community.
